AI Ink Tattoo (“AI Ink Tattoo,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) provides an application that helps you design tattoos with AI and preview how a design might look on skin (the “App”). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. It applies to the App and the related websites and services we operate (together, the “Services”). By using the Services, you agree to this Policy.

1. What the App Does

The App lets you:

• Generate tattoo designs from text prompts you type (and, optionally, a reference image you provide);
• Preview a design on your body using your camera in real time (“AR Try On”), or by submitting a photo so our AI can render a realistic on-skin preview (“AI Try On”);
• Save generated images to your device, share them, and mark designs as favorites;
• Purchase an optional subscription that unlocks additional usage.

We do not perform facial recognition or biometric identification. A photo you submit for Try On may happen to include your face (for example, a chest or upper-body photo), but we only use the image to render a tattoo preview on the skin. We do not use photos to identify you, and we do not build face templates or biometric profiles.

2. Information We Collect

Content you provide.

• Text prompts and other descriptions you enter to generate or recreate a design.
• Photos and camera input you choose to use for Try On — for example, a photo of your arm, hand, chest, or other body area — and the placement, size, and rotation you select for the design.
• Optional reference images you upload to guide a design.

Content the App generates. The tattoo designs and try-on preview images produced from your prompts and photos.

Device and usage information. To operate the Services securely and reliably, we collect:

• A device identifier and basic device details (device model, operating system and version, app version);
• Request metadata such as timestamps, sent with each request to verify integrity, prevent abuse, and manage free-usage limits;
• Usage and diagnostic data (which features are used, interaction events, performance and crash reports), collected through analytics tools described below.

Subscription information. Whether you have an active subscription or free trial, and related transaction status. Payments are processed by Apple’s App Store or Google Play — we do not receive or store your credit-card or payment-account details.

We do not require you to create an account, and we do not ask for your name, address, or phone number to use the core features.

3. How We Use Information

• To generate the tattoo designs and try-on previews you request;
• To operate, maintain, secure, and improve the Services, including preventing fraud and abuse and enforcing usage limits;
• To manage subscriptions and free trials;
• To understand how the Services are used and to improve features and quality;
• To respond to your support requests and communications;
• To comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.

4. Photos and Try-On Processing

• AR Try On overlays the design on your live camera feed on your device. The camera frames used for the live overlay are processed on your device and are not sent to our servers unless you save or submit an image.
• AI Try On requires sending the photo you selected (together with the tattoo design and its placement) to our servers and to our AI processing providers so that a realistic preview can be generated and returned to you.
• You control which photos are used — we only access an image when you select or capture it for this purpose.

5. AI Processing and Service Providers

We use trusted third parties to host the Services and to generate images. When you generate a design or an AI try-on, the relevant prompt and image data are transmitted to and processed by these providers on our behalf:

• Cloud hosting and storage (e.g., Amazon Web Services) to run our servers and store generated content and app data;
• AI image-generation providers (e.g., Google and xAI) that process your prompts and images to create the designs and previews;
• Analytics (Google Firebase) to collect usage, performance, and crash data;
• App distribution and payments (Apple App Store, Google Play) for subscriptions.

These providers are permitted to use the data only to perform services for us and are bound to protect it. Their handling of data is also subject to their own privacy terms.

6. Permissions

• Camera — used for AR Try On and to capture a photo for AI Try On. Only used while you are actively using these features.
• Photos / Media — used to let you pick an image for Try On and to save generated images to your gallery. We only access images you specifically choose.
• System sharing and email — used with your device’s built-in share sheet and email client when you choose to share content or contact support. We do not access your other files or email content.

7. How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only as follows:

• With service providers as described in Section 5, to operate the Services;
• When you share a generated image using your device’s sharing features, at your request;
• For legal reasons, if required by law or to protect the rights, safety, and security of our users, the public, or AI Ink Tattoo;
• In a business transfer, such as a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, in which case we will require the recipient to honor this Policy;
• In aggregated or de-identified form that cannot reasonably be used to identify you.

8. Data Retention

• Photos submitted for AI Try On are used to produce your preview and are retained only as long as needed to provide and support the feature, after which they are deleted or de-identified in the ordinary course.
• Prompts and generated designs may be stored so features such as your creations and the Explore experience work, and to maintain and improve the Services.
• Device, usage, and diagnostic data are kept for as long as needed for security, analytics, and legal purposes.
• Favorites and similar preferences are stored locally on your device.

You may request deletion of content associated with your use of the App by contacting us (see Section 13). Some data may persist in backups or where retention is required by law.

9. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures, including encrypted transmission, to protect your information. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. Your Choices

• You can control camera and photo permissions in your device settings;
• You can decline AI Try On and use only on-device features such as AR Try On;
• You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your App Store or Google Play account settings;
• You can contact us to request access to or deletion of your data.

11. Children’s Privacy

The Services are intended for users aged 13 and older, and tattoos are a decision generally reserved for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us and we will delete it.

12. International Data Transfers

We operate globally, and your information may be transferred to and processed in countries other than your own, including the United States, where data-protection laws may differ. By using the Services, you consent to such transfers.

13. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the effective date and, where appropriate, provide additional notice within the App. Your continued use of the Services after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.
